PRINCESS ANNE, Md. - The Chillin 4 Charity Challenge has swept the nation in a matter of weeks and the University of Maryland Eastern Shore (UMES) athletic department took on the challenge head on. UMES' Cross-Country/Track & Field head coach Ernest Barrett, Women's Basketball head coach Fred Batchelor, and Men's Basketball head coach Bobby Collins participated in the contest along with Associate Director of Athletics for Compliance Neema Connor.

Each participant challenged others to join in on the action, including former UMES Women's Bowling head coach Sharon Brummell. The challenge is in honor of former North Carolina State Women's Basketball head coach Kay Yow, who lost her battle to cancer over five years ago.
