Sept. 23, 2009 SALISBURY, Md. - The University of The University of Maryland Eastern Shore and Prize Fight Promotions are proud to offer a discount to students for the "Title Time" Fight between Fernando Guerrero (15-0; 13 KO's) and Ossie Duran (23-7-2; 9 KO's) at Arthur W. Perdue Stadium (Shorebirds Stadium) on Saturday, Oct. 10.
Local boxing sensation Guerrero will participate in his first career title bout. Fight Night will feature five total bouts beginning at 7:00 p.m. with the 10 round N.A.B.O. Title Fight set for approximately 9:00 p.m. The featured undercard bout is the "Rematch" between Alexis Guerrero and Rodrika Ray. The remaining undercard fights will be announced at a later date.
All UMES students with a valid ID are eligible to receive a 20 percent discount on all tickets purchased at the Shorebirds' box office from Tuesday, Sept. 22 until Monday, Sept. 28. Prices before the discount start at $18. A $2 fee will be added to the price. Box office hours are Monday through Friday 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
The Perdue Stadium parking lot will open at 5 p.m. on Fight Night with gates opening at 6 p.m. There is no tailgating permitted at the stadium.
