Brown comes to UMES after serving in the same position for two years at York College of Pennsylvania, working primarily with Spartans women's basketball, men's soccer, softball, tennis and women's track and field.

He is currently a Certified Athletic Trainer and Professional Rescuer and is a member of the National Athletic Trainers Association and the National Strength and Conditioning Association.

From 2008 to 2010, he was a graduate assistant athletic trainer at Salisbury University, working with the school's nationally ranked men's lacrosse team, as well as the track & field, swimming and men's soccer programs. He also assisted athletic training students as an Approved Clinical Instructor and earned his Master's Degree in Applied Health Physiology.

Previous to Salisbury, he worked as a physical therapy technician at Tidewater Physical Therapy. Brown graduated from Frostburg State University in 2004 with a B.S. in athletic training.

Browns currently resides in Milton, Delaware.
