PRINCESS ANNE, Md. – It was a productive week for the University of Maryland Eastern Shore athletics program this past week as five Hawk teams posted impressive performances. The week saw the men’s and women’s basketball teams each post victories over Delaware State University, while the bowling and indoor track teams both had quality performances at their respective meets.
Let’s take a look at the action from this past week:

The women’s basketball team used their most efficient shooting performance of the season to collect a 69-56 victory at Delaware State University on Saturday.

Her performance helped enable to Hawks to post season-highs in several offensive categories, including points (69), field-goal percentage (43.2 percent), free-throws made (29) and free-throws attempted (35).
The squad now stands in fourth-place in the Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference.
