UMES MEN FINISH FOURTH, WOMEN TAKE FIFTH IN IC4A/ECAC CHAMPIONSHIPS

Princess Anne, Md. --The University of Maryland Eastern Shore Outdoor Track and Field men's team finished fourth, while its women's team placed fifth in the IC4A/Eastern Collegiate Athletic Conference Outdoor Track and Field Championships. Lenora Guion-Firmin and Cynthia Anais both broke school records in their respective events. Anais set a new 800-meter run record of 2:04.26, while Guion-Firmin ran a 52.20 in the 400-meter dash to set the new UMES record in the event. MORE[+]

HAWKS RANKED SEVENTH AND EIGHTH IN MID-ATLANTIC REGION

Princess Anne, Md. -- The University of Maryland Eastern Shore Track and Field team is ranked in the top 10 schools in the mid-Atlantic region. On Wednesday the United States Track and Field Cross Country Coaches Association released its weekly rankings from across the country.
