2014 Indoor Season: ran in 19 events this season...set two school records in the 100 meter and 200 meter dash...a 7.34 second performance in the 100m dash at the Coach O Invitational in December and a 23.36 second performance in the 200m dash during the IC4A/ECAC Championships last March...Named 2014 MEAC All-Academic Honoree.

2013 Outdoor Season: Set record in the 200 meter dash at 23.43 seconds in the Virginia Invitational last March 30th

2013 Indoor Season: Recorded in a first place finish (Delaware Invitational) in a 400-meter dash of 59.60 sec. Recorder second place (University Albany Great Dane Classic) in a 60-meter dash of 7.51 sec. and first place in a 200-meter dash of 24.45 sec.

Personal: born January 15, 1990...daughter of Livetina and Owen Evans...has four brothers and four sisters...sociology major at UMES...nickname is Baby G...competed in track and field at Edwin Allen High School and Oklahoma Baptist College prior to attending UMES...champion in the 4x100 relays at Penn Relays and competed in the World Junior Championships in 2008 and the World Youth Championships in 2009...pre-game routine is to relax and listen to personal sports moment is making the Jamiaca national team, getting the chance to represent her country internationally...lists her mom and best friend Damion as her biggest influences because they'll do anything it takes to help her succeed and accomplish her goals...earned a 4.0 GPA last spring...hopes to either turn professional or go into social work after advice is to train hard and win easy...favorite saying is "The voice in your head that says that you can't do this is a liar"...hobbies outside of sports include dancing and listening to music...favorite book is the Bible and favorite move is Love & Basketball...hopes to run a personal best in the 60m, 100m and 200m indoors and outdoors, as well as set school records and make it to NCAA Nationals
