PRINCESS ANNE, Md.—Junior and Senior Track & Field athletes Dillon Simon (Pottersville, Dominica) and Gayon Evans (Clarendon, Jamaica) have been named the University of Maryland Eastern Shore Peninsula Regional Medical Center Athletes of the Week for the week ending on May 6th. Simon is being named for the eighth time this season, while Evans is being named for the sixth time.

Both athletes earned their stripes at the MEAC Championships in Greensboro, N.C. this past weekend. She also contributed to the Lady Hawks’ point total by running the third leg of the 4x400 relay that finished fourth with a time of 3:44.80.
