Anais and Jones Take 6th and 7th in U. Delaware Invitational

2011 Cross Country Season: Completed all seven of UMES' meets ... Finished with a season's best 18:39.35 to take second place in the Delaware State Invitational ... Ran a 21:11.66 in the UMES Lid-Lifter ... and a 19:04.08 in the UMES Cappy Anderson ... Finished the MEAC Championship with a 19:15.13.

2011 Indoor Season: Broke the school record in both the 800m with a time of 2:07.95 at the Albany Great Dane Classic in New York, N.Y. on Jan. 24 (also a meet record) and the 1000m with a time of 2:48.85 at the Penn State Nationals in University Park, Pa. on Jan. 29 ... Broke the MEAC Championship meet record in the 1 Mile with a time of 5:01.26 in Landover, Md. on March 18 ... Named the MEAC Female Athlete of the Week for Jan. 27 ... MEAC Championships Co-Top Performer ... Took home the gold medal in six events, including three at the MEAC Championships.

2010 Cross Country Season: Completed all seven of UMES' meets ... Took home the gold medal at the Delaware State Open (20:20.53) and Delaware State Invitational (19:18.16) ... Finished second overall with a time of 18:45.59 at the UMES Cappy Anderson Invitational ... Tabbed MEAC Athlete of the Week twice (Sept. 22, Oct. 14) ... Named a MEAC Championship Top Performer with her eighth place finish time of 18:52.80.

2010 Outdoor Season: Named the team Player of the Year ... Broke the school record in the 800m with a time of 2:05.33 at the NCAA Eastern Regional in Greensboro N.C. on May 27 ... Competed at the NCAA Division I Outdoor Track and Field Championships in the 800m at historic Hayward Field on the campus of the University of Oregon ... Season bests: 200m - 25.76 (Coppin State Eagle Twilight); 400m - 56.94 (Maryland Invitational); 800m 2:05.33 (NCAA Eastern Regional); 1500m - 4:35.51 (Penn Invite) ... Member of the: 4x400 relay that ran 3:43.77 at the ECAC Championships; 4x800 relay that ran 8:58.10 at the Penn Relays and the 1600 Sprint Medley that ran a 4:03.44 also at the Penn Relays ... Also competed at Morgan State Legacy, MEAC Championships and Wake Forest Open ... Named to the MEAC Commissioner's All-Academic List.

2010 Indoor Season: Season-bests: 800m (2:09.08 - ECAC Championships); 1 Mile (5:03.28 - Albany Great Dane Classic) ... 2009 Indoor Season: Ran the 800 meters in 2:11.62 at the Alex Wilson Invitational ... Member of the 4x400 Relay who ran 3:49.08 and the Distance Medley Relay who ran 12:02.01 at the MEAC Championships.

2009 Outdoor Season: All-American ... Broke the school record in the 800 meters in 2:09.58 at the Georgia Tech Invitational ... Ran a 57.56 in the 400 meters at the Hampton Relays ... Finished the 400 meter hurdles in 1:11.50 at the Maryland Invitational ... Ran the 1500 meters in 4:45.22 at the MEAC Championships ... Member of the school record breaking 4x400 Relay team who ran a 3:41.12 at the NCAA East Regionals and the school record breaking 4x800 Relay who ran an 8:44.38 at the Florida Relays.
