As part of the athletic excellence component of the NCAA CHAMPS/Life Skills program at all DI institutions, the University of Maryland Eastern Shore athletic department has contracted with Outrageous Olympics, a company out of Richmond, Virginia, that runs Olympic-style team building activities. This event will allow athletes and athletic personnel a rare opportunity to bond outside of the realm of athletics. With events such as sack races and egg drop, each team will have the opportunity to work together to earn the chance to wear the gold medal. Three teams will be recognized for gold, silver or bronze performances. Come watch Athletic Director Keith Davidson start the games off in Olympic style by lighting the torch!
