The Leopards added two more in the fourth on Butler's homer to right and benefitted from a five-run outburst in the eighth to go up, 12-0.
After Daniel Bierce singled to left to bring in Froio and an infield single by Ian McCutcheon scored Butler, Hall put his mark on the inning with his second roundtripper of the afternoon to left.

The Leopards touched Cameron Zimmerman (Harrisburg, Pa.) for seven runs in game two before Dunham singled to right, knocking Vaughn in for the Hawks' first run of the day in the third.
UMES tacked on another in the fourth with a Guy double to right-center, plating Ben Vasko (San Diego, Calif.) to cut the lead to 7-2.
Lafayette extended its lead to 10-2 in the fifth with the big blow coming on a two-run double from Froio. The Leopards added seven in the sixth off of reliever Brian White (Virginia Beach, Va.), including three-run triple off the bat of Froio.
UMES answered with three in the bottom of the sixth on RBI singles from Guy and Pat Hercinger (Papillion, Neb.) to account for the final margin.
