PRINCESS ANNE, Md. – The University of Maryland Eastern Shore baseball team has announced that its games against Mount St. Mary’s that were originally scheduled to be played tomorrow, March 4 and Wednesday, March 5, have been rescheduled. The contests will now be moved to next week, where the Hawks will head to Emmitsburg to play against The Mount on March 11-12.

The Hawks will take the field next this Saturday, when the men host NJIT for a doubleheader beginning at 12 p.m. UMES will also play the Highlanders for second doubleheader on Sunday as the teams will play four games in two days.

HAWKS DROP CLOSE GAME TO MOUNT ST. MARY'S 6-3
James Smith and Karim Gonzalez locked down Mount St. Mary's in the final five innings, but the deficit was too much as UMES fell to 6-3 to Mount St. Mary's at Hawks Stadium. UMES goes to 2-22 while Mount St. Mary's goes to 7-19.
