PRINCESS ANNE, Md. – The University of Maryland Eastern Shore baseball team has announced that several of its upcoming contests have been rescheduled. The recent string of bad weather has made field conditions unplayable for six contests that UMES was supposed to play over a five-day span.

The Hawks were originally scheduled to participate in two doubleheaders over the weekend against NJIT at Hawk Field. Those contests have been rescheduled and will now be played as a single doubleheader to be played on Saturday, May 10.

UMES’ two games at Mount St. Mary’s next Tuesday and Wednesday have been moved to a doubleheader on Monday, March 10 beginning at 11 a.m. The doubleheader will be a nine-inning contest in the first game, before finishing with a seven-inning game in the nightcap. The games will be played at Harford Community College (Md.).
