PRINCESS ANNE, Md. – Due to tomorrow’s poor weather forecast, the University of Maryland Eastern Shore baseball program has announced that its contest against UMBC has been cancelled. The contest was supposed to be the first of four home games this week for the Hawks, but the match was cancelled ahead of time because of the forecast.

UMES Head Coach Pedro Swann also has said that there will not be a makeup game scheduled.

The Hawks will next be in action this weekend, when they host Norfolk State for a three-game set beginning on Saturday.
