SWANN TO BE SPOTLIGHTED BY TEXAS RADIO STATION ON SUNDAY

DALLAS, Texas - This weekend, University of Maryland Eastern Shore Head Baseball Coach Pedro Swann will be featured on "Blacks DO Play Baseball", a segment done by a Dallas, Texas based radio station. The weekly show defines itself as "your source for all things black baseball". Previous segments have featured local and national coaches, celebrities, scouts and local youth baseball players. Although it pertains to everything baseball, it focuses on helping high school players get into college baseball of a scholarship.
The interview will be performed live at 7 p.m., Eastern Standard Time (EST) and will last for approximately one hour. It will be about everything baseball, where Swann will speak about his playing career and experiences attained as head coach of the Hawk baseball program.

Swann and Hawks will open up their preseason schedule next weekend when they host Salem Community College (N.J.) at Hawk Stadium on Saturday, Oct. 5.
