PRINCESS ANNE, Md. - Baseball players from the maroon and grey's proud history will be back on campus Saturday, Oct. 24 as the University of Maryland Eastern Shore (UMES) will host its annual baseball alumni game to raise funds for the baseball program and to rekindle its relationship with past players.
The Hawks' alumni will play one game following a home run derby, which begins at noon. The game will follow the derby and lunch will begin at approximately 3:30 p.m. All former players are encouraged to attend.
The cost is just $30 and each participant will receive a t-shirt, catered lunch, batting practice and participation in the game.
Family members of alumni can eat for $12 each. In case of rain, the event will take place on Saturday, Oct. 31.
Registration opens at 9 a.m., while batting practice starts at 10:30.
