Michael Farrare enters his first season as an assistant coach with the Hawks men's basketball team. Farrare came to UMES in the fall of 2006 after serving as the head junior varsity basketball coach at Bennett High School in Salisbury, Maryland for eight years. He was also the assistant varsity basketball coach, assistant varsity football coach and assistant track and field coach there. A native of Salisbury, Maryland, Farrare is a 1981 graduate of UMES with a degree in Sociology. He is working toward a master's degree in Applied Social Science at Sojourner-Douglass College. |
