LAS VEGAS - --(AP)Ed Tyson had a game-high 20 points with six rebounds and five assists to lead Maryland-Eastern Shore past Charleston Southern 74-49 in the final round of the Las Vegas Classic on Saturday.

The Hawks also were helped by Antonio McMillion and Corey Brown who each had 19 points. Aleksander Popovic added 12 points and a game-high 12 rebounds for Maryland-Eastern Shore in the eight-team, four-game tournament.

After leading 49-47 with 12:27 left in the game, the Hawks went on a 19-0 run as the Buccaneers went scoreless for the next 9:17. Charleston Southern did not score a field goal in the final 13:06, only scoring 15 second-half points.

Chris Moore led the Buccaneers (5-8) with 12 points, including 4-of-7 from 3-point range. Donnell Covington had 10 points for Charleston Southern.

Maryland-Eastern Shore shot 31-of-59 from the field for 53 percent, while Charleston Southern was 16-of-54 for 30 percent.

The Hawks went 1-3 in the Classic after winning the seventh-place game Saturday, while the Buccaneers were 0-4.
