Jan. 1, 2010 Audio: Coach Allen Interview | Video: Shootaround in Nebraska LINCOLN, Neb. - The University of Maryland Eastern Shore men's basketball team continues to look for their first win of the season with a contest against the Nebraska Huskers Saturday at 4 p.m. EST at the Devaney Center. The Hawks look to snap a three-game losing streak and improve upon their 0-5 road record and 3-8 overall record. UMES fell to the Ball State Cardinals on Monday by a score of 65-47 in Muncie, Ind. Junior Kevin White (Brooklyn, N.Y.) recorded his seventh straight game of scoring in double digits with 11 points. The Huskers are coming off a 94-61 victory over Southern Utah Wednesday. Quincy Hankins-Cole matched his season-high with 15 points as Nebraska improved their record to 10-3 on the season. This is the third-ever meeting between UMES and Nebraska. The Hawks last traveled to Lincoln last season and lost, 88-56. Nebraska leads the series, two games to none.
