NORMAN, Okla. - The University of Maryland Eastern Shore men's basketball team continues to look for their first win of the season with a matchup against the Oklahoma Sooners Monday at 8 p.m. EST at the Lloyd Noble Center.

The Hawks are currently 3-9 on the season and coming off a loss to the Nebraska Huskers Saturday night, 74-60, in Lincoln, Neb. Redshirt sophomore Hillary Haley (Oxon Hill, Md.) led all scorers with 18 points in 30 minutes of play on 8-for-17 from the floor (1-for-6 from behind the arc). UMES is looking to snap a four-game losing streak and break a record of 0-6 on the road.

The Sooners lost to Gonzaga, 83-69, Thursday in Spokane, Wash. to fall to 8-5. Willie Warren led Oklahoma with 19 points in their second straight loss.

This is the second meeting between the Hawks and Sooners all-time. UMES traveled to Norman last season and lost 100-64 on January 5, 2009.
