VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. - Freshman James Cotton (Pocomoke, Md.) was named the Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference Rookie of the Week, the conference announced on Monday. Cotton scored a combined 10 points and registered six rebounds, two blocked shots, one assist and one steal in games against Ball State and Nebraska this past week. Sophomore Tyler Hines (Sicklerville, N.J.) was named Other Top Performer for the week by the MEAC. He tallied nine points and 13 rebounds against Ball State and Nebraska. The Hawks (3-9, 1-0 MEAC) are back in action tonight at Oklahoma, in Norman, Okla., at 8 p.m. EST.
