Jan. 12, 2006 Princess Anne, MD - The University of Maryland Eastern Shore (UMES) Men's Basketball's senior standout, Tim Parham will be featured on the National Radio Show, From The Press Box to Press Row on Saturday, January 14, 2006. Parham (F, 6'9, 240 lb., Chicago, Ill.) is the Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference (MEAC) leader in double doubles this season (seven in 14 games) and last season's leader in the same category as well as rebounds. He was named to the MEAC Pre-season all conference team this season and was a second-team selection last season. He is currently averaging a double double with 15 points and 10 rebounds and leads the conference in rebounding (offensive, defensive and total), is second in field goal percentage and fifth in scoring From the Press Box to Press Row airs Saturday's from 5pm to 6pm. Parham will be live on the show at approximately 5:15 pm. Parham gained national attention last summer when he entered his name into the National Basketball Association's (NBA) draft but he withdrew his name and returned this season for his final year with the Hawks. The show is the only national, live, call-in sports talk show in the nation whose focus is Black College Sports. Currently, the show airs in Baltimore/Washington on 680-AM WCBM which covers the entire state of Maryland and Delaware, Washington DC, parts of Pennsylvania and Northern Virginia. It can also be heard in Raleigh/Durham, NC (750-AM WAUG), Hampton Roads/Richmond, VA (670-AM WPMH) and Birmingham, AL (WYDE 101.1-FM/1260-AM).
