Kevin White and his teammates look to break a five-game losing streak to Coppin State

BALTIMORE, Md. - The University of Maryland Eastern Shore men's basketball team continues Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference play Saturday with a matchup against the Coppin State Eagles this Saturday at 7:30 p.m. at the Physical Education Complex.

The Hawks are currently 4-13 on the season and 2-2 in the MEAC. They most recently lost to Bethune-Cookman on Monday, 63-51, in Daytona Beach, Fla. Freshman Sean Berry (Irvington, N.J.) scored in double-digits for the third consecutive game and once again narrowly missed a double-double with his 13 points and eight rebounds.

The Eagles dropped to 5-11 overall and 0-4 in the MEAC with a loss at South Carolina State on Monday. Sam Coleman and Vince Goldsberry each score 12 points for the Eagles while Kareem Brown scored 11 and Michael Harper had 10.

This is the 65th meeting between UMES and CSU. The Eagles lead the series, 51-13 and have won five straight against the Hawks. CSU won the last meeting, 65-48, on February 2, 2009 in Princess Anne.
