TALLAHASSEE, Fla. - The University of Maryland Eastern Shore (UMES) Men's and Women's Basketball teams begins a two game swing in the Sunshine State with a match-up against Florida A&M University (FAMU) tomorrow night in Gaither Gym.

The Lady Hawks (8-8, 1-2 MEAC) will enter tomorrow night's game in search of their second MEAC win of the year after picking up their first against Norfolk State, 88-65, on Monday night. UMES will rely upon the play of April McBride (New Rochelle, N.Y./New Rochelle H.S.) who is averaging 20.7 points, 7.3 rebounds, and 2.33 steals per game through conference play. For the season, McBride leads the Lady Hawks with 15.2 points and 7.4 rebounds per game. Teammate Tiffany Reid (Philadelphia, Pa./National Christian Academy) is posting a solid 13.8 points per game as the team's second leading scorer, while averaging a team-high 2.92 assists and 2.38 steals per game.

FAMU (9-7, 1-4 MEAC) comes into the game on a six game skid, including a 90-62 loss to Coppin State on Monday. The Rattlers opened up their season as one of the hottest teams in the conference, winning nine out of ten, but have since faltered and will look to their big three of Joslyne Jackson, Stephanie Foster, and Q'Vaunda Curry, who are averaging 14.1, 13.9, and 10.3 respectively, to get them back on track.

UMES split the series with FAMU last season as both teams won on the road. Tip-off is scheduled for 2:00 p.m.
