BALTIMORE, Md. - The University of Maryland Eastern Shore men's basketball team looks to win their second straight game and snap Morgan State's five game winning streak tonight at 7:30 p.m. at the Talmadge L. Hill Field House.

The Hawks are currently 5-13 overall and 3-2 in Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference play and are coming off of a 70-62 victory over Coppin State on Saturday. Senior Neal Pitt (Fort Washington, Md.) recorded his second double-double of the season and the 13th of his career with 17 points and 10 rebounds. Junior Tim Burns (Franklinville, Md.) and redshirt sophomore Hillary Haley (Oxon Hill, Md.) joined Pitt in double-digits with 20 and 13 points, respectively.

The Bears have won 10 straight MEAC conference games and rest atop the league at a perfect 5-0. Their last loss in the MEAC came on Feb. 23, 2009 on the road against Hampton, 49-47. They are coming off of a 72-62 victory over Delaware State on Saturday. Reggie Holmes leads the MEAC in scoring and ranks sixth in the nation at 22.8 points per contest.

The Bears defeated the Hawks last year in the only meeting of the season, 87-52, at the Hytche Athletic Center on Jan. 31. MSU leads the overall series, 45-30. The last time UMES won against the Bears was on Jan. 28, 2006 in Baltimore, 76-67.

Monday's game can be heard live on the Internet thanks to allinbroadcasting.com and live on the Hawks Radio Network at Studio 106.1 FM. Nick Anastos and Bret Lasky have the call for UMES.
