April McBride is coming off a double-double of 20 points and 19 rebounds in the win over Morgan State.

BALTIMORE, Md. - The University of Maryland Eastern Shore (UMES) Men's and Women's Basketball teams wrap up their Baltimore road trip with a match-up against Coppin State University (CSU) tonight in the Coppin Center.

The Lady Hawks (11-8, 4-2 MEAC) enter tonight's contest on a four three game winning streak, including a 95-80 decision over Morgan State on Saturday. Super sophomores April McBride (New Rochelle, N.Y./New Rochelle H.S.) and Tiffany Reid (Philadelphia, Pa./National Christian Academy) took home two Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference (MEAC) honors as they were named Player of the Week and Defensive Player of the Week for their performances against Bethune-Cookman and Morgan State.

McBride averaged a double-double of 15.5 points and 12 rebounds in the two games, which included a 20 point, 19 rebound effort against the Bears. Reid, collected 18 rebounds, three steals, and one block, while adding 28 points on the offensive end.

CSU (11-10, 6-2 MEAC) also enters tonight's game with a win streak of their own, having won their last five after defeating Delaware State on Saturday, 60-57. The Eagles are led by Rashida Suber and Shalamar Oakley, the top two scorers in the MEAC, with 18.1 and 18 points respectively. Oakley is also dishing out a team-high 3.67 assists per game, while Suber leads the team with 3.48 steals per game.

UMES dropped both games to CSU by double digits last season. Tip-off is scheduled for 5:30 p.m.

The Hawks (2-20, 0-7 MEAC) enter tonight's game having lost 11 straight, including a 67-52 decision to Morgan State on Saturday. Ed Tyson (Baltimore, Md./Walbrook H.S.) had a solid outing in his hometown return as he finished with 28 points, six rebounds, and three steals. Tyson leads the conference in scoring with 19 points per game.

CSU (4-19, 0-8 MEAC) enters the game on a six game skid after losing to Delaware State on Saturday, 56-48. Tywain McKee leads the Eagles offensive attack with 15.3 points per game.

UMES dropped both contest to the Eagles last season. Tip-off is scheduled for 7:30 p.m.
