Princess Anne, Md. - The University of Maryland Eastern Shore (UMES) men's basketball team has activated two practice players. They will be in uniform for tomorrow's game against Norfolk State University.

"We had a couple players who are no longer with the team," said Head Coach Larry Lessett. "Last game we could not even play our two freshman because of the flu and a couple of players played sick. I think due to those lingering effects and the need for some extra hands we are taking two young men who have been working hard in practice and possibly giving them a chance to contribute in a game."

The two players that were added to the Hawks are:

Name, Position, Height, Weight and Class are listed.

Jamar Taylor #22 Fwd. 6-4 260 Junior

Terrell Harris #20 Guard 6-1 175 Junior

Please see the roster for complete information.

Harris is no stranger to the loyal Hawk follower. The junior played last season on the Baseball team collecting an RBI in one at bat but putting in most of his time in on the mound. He appeared in 20 games, going 0-1 with a 9.89 ERA in 33.2 innings pitched. He gave up 54 hits and 43 runs, of which 37 were earned. He struck out six and walked 28. The last time he faced the Spartans it was April 17, 2004 when he went an inning and two thirds allowing three runs, two earned. He struck out two.
