Feb. 21, 2003

PRINCESS ANNE, MD- The University of Maryland Eastern Shore (UMES) Fighting and Lady Hawks are pleased to announce a new deal with Clear Channel Radio that will allow Hawk fans to listen to the Homecoming 2003 festivities. Clear Channel Radio, which owns several stations in the Delmarva area, will do live broadcast updates of the Lady Hawks game on Magic 98.9 FM. Then, at 4:00 p.m. the Fighting Hawks will take the floor and you can tune your dial to Sports talk 960 AM to hear live play by play and shot by shot action of the game. Local sports personality Robert Sykes, known for his outstanding coverage of Pocomoke High School, will call the action as it happens.

That is this Saturday, February 15, 2003 when the Hawks of the University of Maryland Eastern Shore take on the Rattlers and Rattlerettes of Florida A & M University. The women tip at 2:00 pm and the men at 4:00 pm.
