PRINCESS ANNE, Md. - The University of Maryland Eastern Shore's Director of Athletics (UMES) Keith Davidson announced today that Coach Larry Lessett has resigned his post as Head Men's Basketball Coach.

"We thank Coach Lessett for his contributions to the University and wish him well in his future endeavors," said Davidson.

UMES will hold a press conference on Thursday, March 15th at 2:00 pm in the conference room of the William P. Hytche Athletic Center to discuss the future of the men's basketball program. Members of the media should RSVP to 410-651-6499.
