PRINCESS ANNE, Md. --As part of the Virginia Sports Hall of Fame & Museum induction, which includes University of Maryland Eastern Shore Men's Basketball Head Coach Frankie Allen, it will host an hour-long autograph session with its 2013 inductees. Scheduled for April 27 from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m. at the Virginia Sports Hall of Fame Museum in Portsmouth, Virginia, the session will be part of the weekend's induction festivities.

Allen will be inducted into the hall of fame during the weekend. In four years at Roanoke College Allen amassed more than 2,780 points and 1,758 rebounds to lead the state of Virginia in both categories.

During his time with the Maroons, he led the team's he was a part of to two Mason-Dixon Tournaments and an 82-34 record as a student-athlete.

Allen is in his 23rd year at UMES and has coached at Virginia Tech and Tennessee State, among other schools. As head coach at Tennessee State he won three Ohio Valley Conference titles and made two appearances in the NCAA Tournament.
