PRINCESS ANNE, MD - Former University of Maryland Eastern Shore (UMES) men's basketball standout Tim Parham will audition for a spot on the NBA's Chicago Bulls squad that will participate in the Pepsi Pro Summer League from July 10-14 at the RDV Sportsplex in Orlando, Florida. The Bulls will determine their summer league roster during a four-day mini-camp July 6-9 at the Berto Center.

In his final season with the Hawks, Parham was first on the team in scoring and rebounding, averaging a double-double of 14.0 points and 10.3 rebounds per game. He connected on 53 percent of his shots from the field (159-of-300) and led the team in both field goals made and free-throw attempts/made. Following the regular season, Parham was a second team All-MEAC selection by the leagues' Head Coaches and Sports Information Directors.

Chicago's summer league roster, which includes recent draft picks Tyrus Thomas and Thabo Sefolosha, will be finalized on Sunday, July 9.

Justin Bowen, another former Hawk, will also audition for a spot on the Bulls' summer league squad. Bowen played in 28 games in the 2001-02 season at UMES and averaged 7.4 points and 5.2 rebounds per game, which was second best on the team.
