PRINCESS ANNE,. Md. - The University of Maryland Eastern Shore (UMES) men's basketball team starts their home season tonight with an exhibition contest against the Shenandoah University Hornets. Tip-off is scheduled for 7:00 p.m. in Interim head Coach Meredith's Smith home debut.

The Hawks will look to rebound from their opening night loss to VCU on Friday. They will use this exhibition against the Div. III Hornets as a tune-up for Thursday night's regular season match-up against Stony Brook. The two teams met this past January, with the Hawks triumphant, 88-64. Tonight's game can be heard live on the internet thanks to allinbroadcasting.com and live on the radio at WTGM-AM 960 The Team.
