TROY SNYDER NAMED TO SOUTH FLORIDA ALL-TOURNAMENT TEAM

TAMPA, Fla. --Following a three-game basketball tournament hosted by the University of South Florida, Troy Snyder from the University of Maryland Eastern Shore was announced to the USF Invitational All-Tournament Team. Playing in games from November 16-18, Snyder produced a weekend-high of 13 points versus Loyola-Chicago. Due to his performance at USF, the Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference also recognized his accomplishments amongst week two key performers.
Snyder averaged 12.3 points per game and 5.0 rebounds per game versus South Florida, Western Michigan and Loyola-Chicago. In the opening game against the Bulls, Snyder posted 12 points, seven rebounds and shot 50 percent from the floor. He had his best game in terms of points against Loyola-Chicago on Sunday, scoring a team-high 13 points.
On the season Snyder averages 10.3 PPG, scoring a season-high 17 points in the Hawks' season opener at Hawai'i. Against Arkansas-Pine Bluff he grabbed nine rebounds and was perfect from the free-throw line for UMES.
The Chicago, Illinois native will join his teammates in resting during the upcoming holiday. UMES will have the week off before returning to practice to prepare for MEAC rival Delaware State on December 1 at 3 PM.
