Dec. 21, 2009 PRINCESS ANNE, Md. - Junior Kevin White (Brooklyn, N.Y.) has been named University of Maryland Eastern Shore Athlete of the Week Monday for the period ending Dec. 20. White, a guard on the men's basketball team, scored a career-high 16 points in a 87-46 loss to Wright State Saturday in Dayton, Ohio. White shot 7-of-15 from the field and had three assists and three boards. The loss to the Raiders ended a three-game win streak for the Hawks (3-6, 1-0 MEAC), who travel to DeKalb, Ill., Tuesday at 2 p.m., for a date with Northern Illinois.
