Dec. 27, 2009 Live Audio | Game Notes | Men's Basketball Blog MUNCIE, Ind. - The University of Maryland Eastern Shore men's basketball team looks to snap a two-game losing streak and earn their first win on the road this season with a matchup against the Ball State Cardinals Monday at 7 p.m. at John E. Worthen Arena. UMES fell to 0-4 on the road, 0-6 away from Princess Anne and 3-7 overall with a loss to Northern Illinois (87-69) on Tuesday. Redshirt junior Tim Burns (Franklinville, N.J.) led the Hawks with a career-high 29 points. BSU defeated North Carolina Central, 59-45, last Monday night at home. Malik Perry led the Cardinals with 17 points off the bench. Jarrod Jones had a double-double with 16 points and 10 rebounds and leads BSU in scoring (14.9) and rebounding (7.1) for the season. This is the second-ever meeting between UMES and BSU. The Hawks last traveled to Muncie, Ind. on Dec. 4, 1992 and lost, 67-47.
