UMES MEN'S TENNIS FALLS TO COPPIN STATE 7-0
Feb. 25, 2006
Orlando, Fla. - The University of Maryland Eastern Shore (UMES) Men's Tennis Team took a break from playing the southern division teams from the Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference (MEAC) at the MEAC Round-Up to take on area rival Coppin State University on February 25, 2006.
The Hawks were hoping to get a much-needed MEAC win in a contest that was being made up from an originally scheduled fall date. While the Hawks played the match in the beautiful Florida weather, the result wasn't what they were hoping for.
They fell 7-0 to the Eagles. Kishan Sudusinghe fell 6-4, 6-0 to Joseph Reynolds and Christopher Clarke fell 6-3, 6-3 to Florin Celea. Those same two had a great outing in doubles action as well falling to Reynolds and Parker Scott 8-6.
