March 1, 2006
Salisbury, MD - Local bragging rights were on the line on March 1, 2006 when the University of Maryland Eastern Shore (UMES), the area's only Division I team, took on Salisbury University (DIII) in men's tennis. The always-National power Seagulls got the better of the Hawks 7-0. Christopher Clarke had a good outing for the Hawks as he fell to Brendan Kincaid 6-3, 6-4. Clarke, along with Kishan Sudusinghe played a great doubles outing against Kincaid and James Mills. The Gulls got the better of the Hawks in that match-up as well, topping them 8-5. No other Hawk managed more than one point in their doubles or singles match.
