BALTIMORE, Md. - The University of Maryland Eastern Shore (UMES) Men's Tennis team fell 7-0 to the host Morgan State University (MSU) Bears in the first Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference (MEAC) match-up for the Hawks on March, 16. MSU shut out the Fighting Hawks at Nos. one, two and four singles, winning 8-0, while Harold Fowler played well at number three singles, before falling to Joaquin Turley, 8-2.

UMES defaulted at number five and six singles as well as number three doubles. Rashad James and Dorian Thomas were best at No.1 doubles as were Fowler and William Ntirenganya at No. 2 doubles, both by scores of 8-0.

UMES is back in action next weekend taking on Delaware State in a MEAC match-up.
