WASHINGTON, D.C. - With losses to Howard University Tuesday afternoon, the men's and women's tennis teams at the University of Maryland Eastern Shore (UMES) said goodbye to their first win streak in over a decade. Both programs fell 6-1 to the Bison and drop to 0-3 in the Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference (MEAC).

Though Howard was in sync, sweeping both men's and women's programs in competition, Emmash Sudusinghe (Colombo, Sri Lanka) and Solana McMillan (Teaneck, N.J.) led their respective teams in points on the day.

UMES will head back to Washington, D.C. on April 4 for matches against the University of D.C. Competition is scheduled to begin at 1 p.m.
