April 1, 2007 WASHINGTON, D.C. - Howard University topped the University of Maryland Eastern Shore (UMES) in Men's tennis on April Fool's Day. The loss drops UMES to 0-10 on the year. Kishan Sudusinghe played a tough match falling at #1 singles to Faron Carter 6-0, 6-2 while teammate Marcus Robinson fell at #2 singles 6-2, 6-0 to Othmane Garma 6-2, 6-0. Also scoring for the Hawks was Harold Folwer who was toppled 6-1, 6-1 by Chad Jones at #4 singles and Andrew Graham who fell 8-1 to Stephen-Andrew Surjue. In doubles action the team of Sudusinghe and Robinson fell 8-1 to Carter and Garma while Fowler and Buwan Galpoththawela fell 8-2 to Jones and Anthony Baldwin. They return to the court at home against Delaware State on April 5, 2007.
