HORNETS STING HAWKS IN MEN'S TENNIS ACTION

Dover, DE - The University of Maryland Eastern Shore fell to 0-1 on the season with their 5-1 loss to Delaware State University on Friday. The Hornets won five of six singles matches, and two of three in double competition. Delaware State's Catalin Popescu improved to 3-0 in singles competition after a 6-0, 6-0 win over Brandon Jackson. Popescu also teamed with Liston Fahie to defeat Jackson and Lamar Sutton 8-3 in a doubles match. Sutton had a solid solo outing in his match before falling 6-2, 7-5.
