Jamal Brown will be on the program 10/24/2012 2012-13 WOMEN'S BASKETBALL OUTLOOKLady Hawks went 8-8 in MEAC play last season, bring in nine freshmen for this year Cedric Jenkins begins his seventh season as an assistant coach at Maryland Eastern Shore. He is responsible for game preparation and student-athlete development, among other duties. Jenkins graduated from UMES in 1993 with a B.S. Degree in Business Administration. He was a two-year letterwinner with the Fighting Hawks basketball team and was named the team's Most Improved Player during his first season in Princess Anne. As a freshman at Camden County College (Blackwood, N.J.), Jenkins helped the team to a 32-0 record. The Cougars were back-to-back Region XIX Champions during his two seasons. Jenkins, originally from Washington D.C., now resides in Princess Anne, Md., with his wife Alethia, his son Jalen and his two daughters, Aaliyah and Maya. |
