Cooper, a transfer from Manhattan College, sat out the 2005-06 season due to NCAA year-in-residence requirements. Previous School: Played one full season of Division I basketball at Manhattan College where she earned MAAC conference Rookie-of-the-Week honors for her play the week of January 11, 2004, marking the first time a player from Manhattan had received the honor since 2001-02. High School: Guided The Dwight School to ACIS championships and GISAC championships from 1999 to 2002...Helped her team win the NYSIAA championship during 200-01 season...Earned many honors including an All-Manhattan second-team selection, New York State Sportswriters and Coaches Organization for Girls Sports Class-D Player of the Year honors, and a first-team selection in 2003. |
