Cedric Jenkins begins his second season as an assistant coach at Maryland Eastern Shore after spending the 2005-06 season as a volunteer assistant at UMES. He is responsible for game preparations and student-athlete development, among other duties. Jenkins graduated from the University of Maryland Eastern Shore in 1993 with a B.S. Degree in Business Administration. He was a two-year letterwinner with the Fighting Hawks basketball squad and was named the team's Most Improved Player during his first season in Princess Anne. As a freshman at Camden County College (Blackwood, N.J.), Jenkins helped the team to a 32-0 overall record. The Cougars were back-to-back Region XIX Champions during his two seasons in Blackwood. Jenkins, originally from Washington D.C., now resides in Princess Anne, Md. with his wife Alethia and son Jalen. |
