2002-2003: Played in 23 games, making one start as a true freshman. She averaged 1.0 points and 1.2 rebounds in 5.4 minutes per contest.

Personal: Born August 21, 1983 in Maplewood, New Jersey, Okaro has four sisters, Yeoma, Ngozi, Chinwe, and Chidinma, and three sisters, Ifeanyi, Ifeadi, and Chikwadi. She is the daughter of Dorathy Okaro. She is majoring in Chemistry and plans on attending medical school to study Dermatology.

Before any game you will find Okaro praying and focusing as she lives by the idea that one should "fight four and live forty." Her favorite movie is Brown Sugar.
