HAWKS' FRAHM NAMED MEAC BOWLER OF THE WEEK; AGAIN

For the second week in a row the University of Maryland Eastern Shore's (UMES) Kristina Frahm (Oswego, Ill.) has been named the Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference (MEAC) Bowling Athlete of the Week for the week ending November 16,2008. This is the third straight honor for a Lady Hawk bowler. MORE[+]

HAWKS' TALONS LOOK SHARP, POST 9-1 MARK VS. MEAC NORTH

It didn't feature the top teams in the nation, but it was important nonetheless. The University of Maryland Eastern Shore (UMES) women's bowling team had a slow start the first two weekends of the collegiate bowling season but they rebounded this past weekend to post a 9-1 mark against the conference's northern division teams and got solid play all around to post the best mark at the event.
