Personal: Born August 19, 1994 in Ponce, Puerto Rico...Daughter of Marcos Lopez and Ines Rodriguez...Has one sister Yaritza and a brother Feliz...majoring in the biology program at the University...Best advice received: "Gold medals aren't really made of gold. They're made of sweat, determination, and hard-to-find alloy called guts"...Goals for the year...win a national title and be named an All American... Enjoys traveling and loves fashion...

International: Has represented her country as part of the National Teams for the entire internationals divisions from under 12 up to the adult team, and has been a member since the age of 14. Kristie was the youngest girl in the history of FBPR to be a part of the adult team. Kristie has participated in numerous international tournaments in different countries. In 2007 she participated in Youth PABCOM in San Salvador winning bronze doubles and team events. In 2009 she won a gold in singles, team in all events at the Youth PABCON tournament. In 2011 she won a gold double and a bronze trio in Santo Domingo. Kristie participated in Las Americas Tournament 2008, 2009, and 2010. She received gold individual, all event, and gold team. She also represented the PABCOM area in the European Women Master in Barcelona, Spain in the under 20 division. She was Gold Team in the 1ER IBEROAMERICAN bowling tournament in Madrid, Span. Was Gold Team all event in the Invitational Tournaments in Costa Rica 2005 and 2006.

2012-13: Named UMES Athlete of the Week on Apr 15...All-Tournament Team at the Morgan State Invitational...Named MEAC Bowler of the Week on Feb 19...Named Honorable Mention All-American...Named to NCAA Championships All-Tournament Team...NCBCA All-Academic selection...Total of 7,995 pinfall in 39 games...Averaged 205 with a high game of 279 at the Music City Classic...Finished in 47th place out of nearly 600 bowlers in the 2012 Junior Gold.
