Valentina Collazos was another catch for former head coach Brummell from Colombia with another solid resume. A two-time Colombian Youth Champion, a Valle's State Champion since 2006 and a four-time member of the Colombian National Youth Team, Collazos will bring experience to the Hawks. "She has bowled everywhere." added Brummell. "She has beautiful form and has a hook that plays well to the college game."

Personal: Born April 13, 1990...Daughter of Julian H. Collazos and Isabell Quintana...Has one brother Juan Camilo Collazos...majoring in business administration...best advice received "Don't tell God how big your mountains are, tell your mountains how big your God is"...favorite book is Ella, Quetodo Lo Tuvo by Angela Becerra...favorite movie is LA VITA E BELLA...Goals for this year is help her team win another NCAA championship.

Memorable Moments: Collazos also boasts a pair of silver medals, one in the Central American Youth Championship in 2007 and one in the South American Youth Championship in 2010. That same year she took 32nd overall at the world youth championships in Finland, bowling alongside Alvarado who was also in the top 50.
