APOPKA, Fla. - The University of Maryland Eastern Shore (UMES) earned its first ever win in the NCAA Tournament this morning, knocking off Central Missouri University 4-2 in baker games.

The fifth seeded Hawks toppled the fourth seeded Jennies by scores of: 215-191, 200-245, 211-201, 186-184, 197-236, 194-180.

UMES moves on to battle top seeded Fairleigh Dickinson University at 11:20 am. FDU knocked off Minnesota State-Mankato 4-1 (235-186, 235-216, 220-124, 177-235, 257-173).

The winner of that match will earn a bye to the semi-final round while the loser will face the New Jersey City University (NJCU) Sacred Heart winner.

In other early action Nebraska toppled NJCU 4-2 and Sacred Heart fell to Vanderbilt 4-2.

Those two winners also face off at 11:20 while Central Missouri faces Minnesota State Mankato.
