NORFOLK, Va. - University of Maryland Eastern Shore's Anggie Ramirez was named the Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference (MEAC) Bowling Athlete of the Week, the conference announced on Tuesday.

Ramirez (5-7, Sr., Bogota, Columbia) led the Lady Hawks to a second place overall finish at the Saint Francis New Year's Knockdown and a first place finish in the quad-Baker one-day tournament. Ramirez averaged a 227.33 and knocked down 1,364 total pinfall on day one to earn Tournament MVP and All-Tournament Team honors. As a team, UMES finished in second on day one of team games and first on day two of baker games for an 8-4 record.

Earlier today Ramirez was named the PRMC Athlete of the Week at UMES.
