NORFOLK, Va. - Senior All-American Anggie Ramirez (Bogota, Colombia) notched her third Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference (MEAC) Bowling Athlete of the Week honor the league announced today. The award is the sixth this season for a Hawk bowler.

Ramirez earned All-Tournament Team and Tournament MVP honors at the Prairie View A&M Invitational last weekend. She averaged a 215.2 to lead the field while knocking down 1,076 total pins. Ramirez bowled a career-high 279 in a win vs. Bethune-Cookman. As a team, the Lady Hawks earned a second-place finish overall with a 7-6 overall mark.

UMES takes the weekend off before returning to the Morgan State Invitational in Perry Hall, Md. on Feb. 15-17.
